I was recommended this book by a friend and my initial thought was, money? business? I'm not sure that's for me. But that's not what this book is about, it's about people, their stories and their connection to one of the oldest professions there is. Spanning two continents and a few countries in between, A Money Lenders Tale is a fascinating account of one mans journey into the highs, lows and more importantly the necessity for money lending. A really brilliant read that left me with a new found respect for something I seemingly knew nothing about.
A Memoir of a Truly Fascinating Life
